Sofi Status Panels

The daily `health checks' on SOFI require the operator to revise the Status Panels of the instrument, in order to determine whether the instrument is in its normal operational state or if there are any cryogenic or vacuum problems imminent.

To start the Status Panel on `wsofi', proceed as follows:

Login on `wsofi' as: sofi / 'password'
Click the action in the vue workspace manager to start the program, or type: ismsStart &
Call the Status Panel with the left mouse button, or type in an `xterm': isiStatus &
Check the 3 status panels: `Signals' - `Temperature' - `Pressure' and compare the readings to the ones given here in the annex of this memo.
Use the plot tool `All Temperatures' on the `Temperature' panel to check the history for strange events too. Missing data indicates a possible problem with Rtap.

Table 1 indicates the allowed range of the values given in the panels:
