Focus Wedge Aligment

Focus wedge is supposed to be mounted permanently in position 8 and should never be removed.
If however you have to mount it ,  proceed as follows : anyhow its alignment MUST be checked at every setup :

• Press EMMI emergency stop button at the center of EMMI cover.
• Remove the black side cover of EMMI red very carefullly to avoid

to damage the grism motor.
• From the EMMI configuration panel, select grim pos 8 and click "move to load".
• Install focus wedge in position.
• From EMMI configuration panel, select grism pos 8, select grism name Focus wedge

and click enter grism.
• Click Backup under File submenu.
• Check that pinhole is mounted in Starplate wheel.
• Release the emergency stop button.
• To align focus wedge, load and run RILD_img_tec_FocWdgAlign.obd.
  • First make sure instrument is in focus running RILD_img_tec_SetFoc.
  • Remind that RILD_img_tec_FocWdgAlign will ask you to click left image in PCO MIDAS window.
• Check that EMMI configuration panel is modified accordingly.
• Click Backup under File submenu.
