The study of J. Cortes (focus1_2.pdf and posicion.pdf) shows the dependancies of the focus with the temperature of M1 and surroundings and the zenith distance. Focus models can be implemented checking and correcting for these variables. It is probably better not to include the M1 temperature as it is connected to the Serruier temperature.
Actions to be taken
The formulas for the focus model shall be redone without M1. In case, no evidence is found of the necessaty of M1 temperature in the model, the correcting parameters (without M1 temperature) shall be implemented.
