GENERAL INFORMATION

The Electronics Laboratory Chile (ELC) Documentation Project is in line and based in the specifications give in the ESO WEB Project. At the same time, the recommendations delivered by the ESO La Silla Working Group on Documentación, made by D. Gojak and U. Weilenmann at 29.08.00, have been respected [LSO-PLA-ESO-00000-0001]. The first objective is to share the available information with the engineers and technicians that carry out functions of projects, maintenance and repair electronics systems of ESO.
A second objective consists of preserving, centralize and secure the update of technical documents in La Silla.

The Masters Documents, from where come off the GIF documents presented here are resident in the our server (PCELE6) and in Mely machine.

Documents with DWG extension is corresponding to the AUTOCAD,
SCH and DSN produced by the ORCAD,
PDF by ACROBAT,
DOC by Word, etc.

According to the directive imparted [LSO-PLA-ESO-00000-0001], all the documents must have a identification number. That is not ready made, but is a priority in the near future.
