New: The slit orientation wil be user defined please check TIMMI2 status pages for updates.

Polarimetry

.All filters are in principle available for polarimetry: please check status with onsite support astronomer.

Spectro-polarimetry: will be available for P73

Lunar Ocultations

Available for P72

Miscellaneous

Several additional observing modes are planned/possible, but not yet implemented:

  • daytime observing
  • echelle spectroscopic mode (medium resolution N-band)
