TIMMI 2

In 1996, the Phase-A-Study and the pre-design (by Jena-Optronik GmbH, Jena/Germany) of TIMMI2 was funded by theThüringer Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kultur as Project B503-95025.

Subsequently, from January 1997 through December 2000, funding of the manufacturing, assembly, and testing of the complete device came from Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung, Verbundforschung Astrophysik, under grant nr. 05~3JN204.

The contribution of the Institut für Astronomie der Universität Wien was funded by the Austrian Ministry of Science and Transport and by the Österreichische Nationalbank, Jubiläumsfonds-Projekt Nummer 6876.
