| Abstract: | ||
| Objective: This is a basic introduction to the image analysis software MIDAS. MIDAS will be introduced as a tool to display data taken with various La Silla instruments, including imaging and spectroscopy. Basic data handling as needed for quick online data checks will be shown, as well as combining MIDAS commands to small procedures. The participants should afterwards be able to perform these general tasks and to understand the help-pages which are available for more specific applications. | ||
