Information for Lecturers

INFORMATION FOR LECTURERS

Every lecturer, who is preparing a course, should follow the procedure indicated below:

1. Read carefully the LSU Internal Course Procedure.

2. Read the memorandum about the use of the LSU Laboratory in case it is necessary to use that room.

3. Get the standard LSU templates from our Download section or directly from the links below.

  • Attendance Record/Registro de Asistencia: These forms must be used to control attendance. At the end of a course, the lecturer must deliver this list to the LSU secretary. It is recommended that you save this folder as "Document Template" in your local "Templates" folder.

  • Training Evaluation/Evaluación del Curso: These forms are used for the students to evaluate the lecturer, as well as the methodology used, the infrastructure, etc. The objective is to set a continuous improvement circuit. At the end of the course, the evaluations must be delivered to the LSU secretary. It is recommended that you save this folder as "Document Template" in your local "Templates" folder.

  • PowerPoint Template: This is a template to be used in slide show presentations. It is recommended that you save this template as "Design Template" in your local "Presentations Designs Templates" folder.

4. Create a web site for the course in the e-learning platform, where all the material such as: course objectives, description, contents, support documentation, etc., will be posted. For this, the Teacher Manual (English/Español) should be read. In case the lecturer needs further orientation, the contact form can be used, by choosing "HELP" as reason for contact.
