FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

This section is where we'll try to answer your questions about the LSU. If you don't find what you're looking for below, feel free to e-mail us with your question and we'll do our best!

1. HOW CAN I SUBSCRIBE FOR A COURSE?

To subscribe for a course you must fill in the Registration Form available in Remedy, by using any Remedy client. After submission, you will receive an "Enrollment Confirmation" via e-mail.

2. HOW CAN I SUBSCRIBE FOR A COURSE USING THE ARWEB CLIENT?

Simply click the "Inscription Form" link. You will be taken to the ARWeb page, where you must enter your username and a password (the same one for Remedy System). Then you must click the task named "LSU_Inscription Form" and then fill in the corresponding fields. Finally, you must click the submit button. Later, you will receive an "Enrollment Confirmation" via e-mail. Please note that the ARWeb only works with Explorer or Netscape 4.71.

3. HOW CAN I SUBSCRIBE FOR A COURSE IF I'M NOT A REMEDY USER?

If you are not a Remedy user, simply write an e-mail to the Secretary of the LSU committee with copy to the Course's Lecturer, indicating the course(s) and date(s) you are interested in.

4. DO I NEED TO FILL IN THE INSCRIPTION FORM TO ATTEND A MANDATORY COURSE?

You don't need to subscribe for a course if it is classified as "MANDATORY". The form must be filled in only for "OPTIONAL" courses.

5. DO I NEED AUTHORIZATION FROM MY SUPERVISOR TO ATTEND A COURSE?

You must have authorization from your supervisor only if the course is optional (either internal or external)
