The currently released Instrument Package is fully compatible with the new CCD
A new instrument package is installed at la Silla; the default values of CCD-related parameters have been updated. It will not be released before Sept. because of conflicts with Service Observing OBs
Windowing is DISABLED on the red CCD (i.e. you can define a window, but it will be ignored)
Only 1x1 and 2x2 bin are permitted for the red CCD. Other combinations will result in an error at execution.
2x2 is the standard mode for most observations on Red (pix = 0.33")
The optical axis falls on the right chip. There is no need to perform an offset to move the target out of the gap.
