This page contains instructions on how to create bad pixel masks for the WFI at the 2p2

Instructions

• Every 3 months take:
• 5 bias frames
• 5 V domeflats at 20000 counts
• 5 V domeflats at 5000 counts
• ftp these images across to w2p2drl
• create 3 lists in this same directory:
• biaslist contains the filenames of all the bias frames
• flathighlist contains the filenames of domeflats at 20000 counts
• flatlowlist contains the filenames of domeflats at 5000 counts
• Run the script mkBADPIX.pl :
  ./mkBADPIX.pl biaslist flatlowlist flathighlist tarfile

Where:
- tarfile is the root that you want your webfile to be called (e.g. June2002)

• This will output a file called tarfile.tar.gz which contains the 8 badpix files
